Price Guard – Installation

Requirements

• WordPress installed and working correctly
• WooCommerce installed and active
• Administrator access to the WordPress dashboard

Plugin upload

1. Open Plugins > Add New Plugin in your WordPress admin area.
2. Click Upload Plugin.
3. Select the .zip archive for BiltsevTools – Price Guard.
4. Click Install Now.
5. After installation, click Activate Plugin.

Where to find the plugin

After activation, open:

• BiltsevTools > Price Guard

Initial setup

Review the main settings before using the plugin in production:

• enable anomaly checks
• configure the anomaly threshold
• choose the action mode
• enable logging if you want an audit trail
• enable email notifications if needed

Recommended rollout

For a safe initial rollout, start with:

• Warning only mode
• logging enabled
• a threshold that matches your real catalog behavior

Once you confirm that normal price updates are not being flagged too often, you can move to block mode.

License activation

The commercial version includes a license section on the settings page.

1. Open BiltsevTools > Price Guard.
2. Enter your license key.
3. Save settings.
4. Wait for the license status check to complete.

Verification after installation

After setup, test the plugin with a product that already has a regular price:

• change the price slightly and confirm that it saves normally
• change the price dramatically and confirm that a warning or block is triggered
• if using Pro block mode, test the Approve this price action
